The author analyses the essence of the informatization of civil proceedings. Her considerations include the stage of examination and enforcement proceedings, in which solutions have been introduced relating to documenting procedural and enforcement activities, as well as the use of means of distance communication for the purpose of improving these activities. A separate issue is the introduction of the possibility of performing activities in the ICT system in relation to entities providing information or participating in the proceedings, in particular public authorities and entities from the financial services sector. In this regard, issues related to the development of such areas as enforcement sales or bank account seizure are of particular interest. The author also sets the main directions of informatization as an inevitable direction of the development of civil procedural law.
